At KPCT, students and professors are working together, thinking about how the technology will make an impact on the real world's products. We have about thirty faculty members. Two hundreds twenty students attend this college. Here are provided Small classes, an exciting curriculum, and the opportunity to work with teachers who are leaders in their fields. Many experienced lecturers come from industries and institutions. A practicum is a college course, often in a specialized field of study, that is designed to give students supervised practical application of a previously studied theory. Students can bridge the gap between college studies and industrial works. We educate Practical Engineering leaders in the front line of manufacturing for Kumamoto Prefecture.
The core of our Practical Engineering education is based on the Mechanics, Production, Electronics, Network and Compter Technology by using cutting edge facilities. Two Mechanical Engineering courses are provided by Precision Mechanical and Mechano-Electronic engineering departments. Three Computer Engineering ones are provided by Electronics and Computer, Computer Network and Computer and Imaging engineering departments.
