About our Precision and Production Engineering Department

「Manufacturing high precision and complicated machine parts」is the core technology of 「Manufacturing」 that Japan is best at.
In this course, students learn a high degree of design techniques for machine parts, micro-machining and measuring techniques.
Students will be provided individual machine tools and computers.
Furthermore, students will learn design techniques and high precision processing technology.  Through graduation manufacture, student skill will be improved.
There are various kinds of Monozukuri, such as a mini machine tool, metallic mold, electric car, and automation machine.
After graduation, students are expected to be able to design cars, metal and plastic products as well as be experienced with precision processing engineering.

C A D(Computer Aided Design) / C A M(Computer Aided Manufacturing) is a design and a production system using a computer.
Students design three-dimensional objects digitally in CAD and produce them automatically by CAM.
The machining center is a large machine which uses a computer. Students produce iron and aluminum high precision processing parts.

A high precision three-dimensional measuring device is used by computer. It measures and evaluates complicated shaped products highly acThe injection molding machine makes plastic parts called plastic models. Students will design and produce metal molds for plastic models in a class.curately.Students will learn sequence control that is often used for an automatic production system in industrial fields based on electrical circuit knowledge.  Students will also recieve practical training in circuit production and programming techniques.
